According to a monthly survey by China Index Academy, which tracks changes in home prices in 100 Chinese cities, the average price of residential homes in February is 8,686 yuan (US$1,325) per square meter, up 0.48 percent than in January.
Among the 100 cities surveyed, Shenzhen topped the list with the highest home prices at 25,137 yuan (US$3,836) per square meter in February, followed by Shanghai at 23,591 yuan (US$3,600), Beijing at 22,767 yuan (US$3474).
