According to a survey published by charity Oxfam, pasta takes the crown as the world's most popular food.
When faced with the question of what's your favorite food, nine countries' people voted pasta as one of their favorite foods due to inexpensive prices and versatility.
The other nine food categories that make their way onto the top 10 list are meat (pork, beef and mutton), rice, pizza, chicken, fish and seafood, vegetable, Chinese food, Italian food, Mexican food.
The survey, which began on April 6 and lasted a month, included more than 600 different varieties and attracted over 16,422 people from 17 countries.
The results showed Asian food becoming more popular worldwide. Chinese cuisine was the second-most popular in Mexico, and Japanese food entered Top 10 in five countries, including America and South Africa.
