Born in Beijing in 1952, Wang Shuzeng is a famous Chinese military writer who has been publishing novels since 1972. He has written a series of very popular military-themed works, including "Red Fish", "Dark Gorge", "Pigeon Whistle", "Far East: The Korean War", "Long March", "The Year of 1901" and "The Year of 1911".
