On December 9, 2000, the crime organization netted 2.08 million yuan(US$250,000) from a branch of Guangdong Development Bank in Zhengzhou, by using a hammer to smash the windows, a shotgun to threaten security guards, and explosives as a supplement device to facilitate the process. A security guard was shot dead by Zhang Shuhai. Six suspects, including Zhang Shuhai, Zhang Hongchao and Zhang Yuping were executed immediately after a public trial on Sept. 16, 2001.
