Brokeback Mountain is a film by Ang Lee, the famous Chinese director who envisioned Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, and highlights the complicated romantic relationship between two men in the American West from 1963 to 1983. Critics were fast to praise the films scenery and shooting style, and the film went on to win numerous awards, including the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival, British Academy of Film and Television Arts and Academy Awards.
