Located on the banks of the Colorado River in Austin, the Trail Restroom was the first public restroom in the park, built over 30 years ago. It is a toilet as well as a sculpture. The building consists of 49 vertical Corten steel plates whose width and height vary significantly, and this design is to allow for the penetration of light and fresh air. At one end of the building is where the restroom sits.
