According to statistics, more than 90 percent of white collar workers in China work over eight hours a day on average; 62.3 percent of them work over 10 hours a day; 20 percent of them work over 12 hours. Working overtime is a normality of Chinese white collar workers.
China Smart Travel Big Data Report shows that the staff in well-known internet companies such as Qihoo 360, Alibaba, JD, Baidu and Tencent finish their work between 20:18-20:35 every day on average. For the convenience of staff members, the cafeteria of Qihoo 360 is open for 16 hours a day. The company also has its own app for food ordering.
