Hainan to recruit volunteers for international tourist island

The Hainan government will launch a volunteer recruitment project this year to staff upcoming major events, including the Boao International Tourism Forum, 2010 Boao Forum for Asia, 60th anniversary of Hainan's liberation, the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai and the Asian Games.
The government will also establish a volunteer group for the island province. It is looking for Party members, experts and college students to provide care and other services to rural children, orphans, the elderly and poor families. A volunteer service fund will be set up and used to train volunteers.
