Organizers will not open ticket booths at the entrances of the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai from May 1 to 3 in order to reduce the number of visitors to the park during the opening period.

Only visitors with designated Expo tickets will be allowed into the park during the first three days of the party, organizers reiterated Thursday.

On–site ticket offices will reopen on May 4, when visitors can purchase tickets to the show from 4 pm to 8 pm daily.
