Mainland residents in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Tibet Autonomous Region, Gansu Province, Qinghai Province, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region will be allowed to visit Taiwan from July 18th, 2010, according to the Cross-Strait Tourism Exchange Association.

The extension of residents allowed to visit Taiwan have been increased from 13 provinces, municipalities on July 18, 2008 to 25 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in Feb 2009.
