Qufu, the home of Confucius, with architectural complexes known as "the peak of Oriental culture", is well preserved and has been named by UNESCO as a "world cultural heritage". The Confucian Cemetery occupying more than 200 hectares, this cemetary has served as the family graveyard of Confucius and his descendants for more than 2,300 years.
