Cruise ship renderings of "Gold No.1"
Chongqing Transportation & Travel Group announced Tuesday that they will invest 2 billion yuan ($300 million) on buiding 10 world-largest and super-luxury cruise ships until 2012.
The first, "Gold No.1", is already on works by Chongqing Dongfeng Shipbuilding Corporation and will be put into operation on May 1. It can be utilized as heliport and golf course.
The "Gold No.1" cruise ship is 136 meters long, 19.6 meters wide; it has six floors and 161 guest rooms with capacity for 355 persons. It looks like a floating five-star hotel.
Little to no noise on the ship
The ship boasts with noise-reducing equipment and the noise level in the room is only 40db, even smaller than that of an air conditioner.

After the Gold No.1's launching, other four will simultaneously start to be built. The last five cruise ships will be launched in the second half of 2012.
