Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) announced on Wednesday that it will launch a direct flight between Shanghai and Copenhagen on March 2, 2012, according to TravelDaily.cn.
The flight will be operated by Airbus A340-330 and will take place five times a week.
According to Lars Olofsson, the general manager for SAS in the Greater China region, the Shanghai-Copenhagen route is the second direct flight following the Beijing-Copenhagen route launched in 1988. It will provide a great convenience for tourists and businessmen traveling between China and the northern European countries.
