The Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp and Resort offers an excellent view of the Golden Triangle and good accommodation and meeting facilities.
Its elephant camp plays host to more than 25 elephants and 60 people, and it is funded by the hotel and donations.
At the camp, you can interact with the gentle giants, learn basic commands from a mahout and get involved in elephant conservation projects. You can also feed baby elephants and have photos taken with them.
An elephant trek along the forest trails will let you to see a beautiful sunset from the hilltop.
One of the must-sees when you visit are the night markets in Chiang Rai.
