On Sept. 17, Ningxia welcomed a group of special visitors, all of whom were master senior sommeliers, heads of the wine business industry and wine lovers. It was the first tour organized by Dongguan China Travel Service.to Ningxia in the mode of “travel +.”
This tour features a combination of sightseeing and wine-tasting. Landscapes or wineries alone are limited in their charms, but the combination adds much new appeal, Wu Xiaoqiang, general manager of Dongguan China Travel Service said.
?“We designed top end wine tasting tours before,” said Yang Shihu, general manager of Ningxia China International Travel Service, “but the tour costs a lot and not so attractive. This time we cooperate with Dongguan China Travel Service, and invite wine lovers here in the mode of ‘sceneries + Ningxia cuisine + fine wines. We would introduce this mode to cities like Changsha and Beijing if it works well.’”
According to Wu, as a trial of “travel +”, a wine-tasting center is hopefully to be established at the eastern foot of Helan Mountain.
