The China-Omen(Duqm) and China-Saudi Arabia Jizan Industrial Parks, which were established under great efforts from Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, have been listed as two of the 20 International Capacity Cooperation Demonstration Areas supported by National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) in 2016, according to Ningxia Development and Reform Commission on March 28.
The China-Omen(Duqm) Industrial Park, with a planned area of 600 hectares in the first phase, will develop logistics, science and technology, R&D, finance and other industries. It was funded by 6 investment companies from Ningxia. The China-Saudi Arabia Jizan Industrial Park is established under joint efforts from Ningxia, Guangdong and Arabian American Company and is expected to complete general design by first half of this year.
The spokesman for the NDRC expressed that it will offer full support to the two industrial parks and guarantee the construction achieve great progress this year.
