Jin Ruofei plays in Belarus Pavilion at the World Expo Park in Shanghai, east China, May 11, 2010. |
Four-year-old Jin Ruofei lingers in the Belarus Pavilion although the dusk is fast approaching. "My daughter likes painting. She insisted on playing here", Jin Ruofei's mother said. Located in Zone C of the World Expo Park, the Belarus Pavilion is like a fairytale castle with numerous paintings inside and outside the pavilion. The exterior wall of the pavilion is covered with plastic spray with fairy-style patterns. The inner exhibition hall is surrounded by a whole landscape view of the country's capital Minsk painted by local renowned artist while one of the inner walls is hung with paintings of future cities drawn by Belarusian children. "The pavilion is as beautiful as a painting", Jin Ruofei said, smiling, which clearly shows how much she likes the fairytale castle.
