Performance at the ceremony for National Pavilion Day of Namibia |
Namibia, land of the Kalahari Desert and extravagant diversity, celebrates its National Pavilion Day on August 26.
The theme of the pavilion is "Experiencing Living Diversity."
Visitors are welcomed by an imposing elephantshaped rock at the entrance. Exhibitions titled "Exploration," "Discovery" and "Dreams" showcase traditonal ways of life, reform of urban communities and protection of environment and Namibia's wildlife.
Visitors travel through Fish River Canyon and 11 key cities and regions of Namibia, including Luderitz, Swakopmund, Walvis Bay, Etosha and its capital city Windhoek.
