Eight people from eight different countries who did an excellent job in an Expo-related quiz were awarded in Shanghai on October 12.
The quiz in 54 languages aimed to promote the fair worldwide. It was conducted through various means including the Internet and radio.
The quiz triggered worldwide participation. People from 148 countries and regions submitted their answers. The eight winners came from Germany, Italy, France, Belarus, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Japan and Vietnam.
It was co-hosted by China Radio International, the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination and Shanghai Media Group.
