China National Post and Postage Stamp Museum will be open to the public for free this weekend, the Beijing Times reports.
From Friday to Sunday, visitors can see the valuable first set of Olympic stamps. When the first modern Olympic Games were held in Athens in April 1896, the Greek government issued a series of twelve stamps to mark the occasion.
Other prized exhibits include sketches from some of the Olympic stamp designers.
The museum will be open from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at 6 Gongyuan Xijie, Dongcheng District. The easiest way to get there is to take subway Line 1 to Jianguomen Station, then walk from there.
