The big national day parade in Beijing will include 60 colorful floats with a variety of themes. 34 will feature regional cultures from across China. Let's take a look at what Shanghai's planning for the parade.

Named Teng Fei, meaning soaring up, the float is shaped like a golden vessel with models of Bund skyscrapers standing on it.

The float was built on the frame of an old car. After the parade, the float will be sent back to Shanghai and displayed until the end of the 2010 World Expo.
