In an animal sanctuary in the United States, an unlikely friendship is flourishing between three unlikely mates: a lion, and tiger and bear.

The three predators live in a specially built enclosure, complete with a club house. They were rescued as cubs nine years ago, following a police raid on a drug gang in Atlanta, Georgia.

Gang members kept the wild animals as status symbols. The youngsters got along then, so caretakers allowed them to live together. Nine years later they're still together, and are inseparable.
