114 survivors have so far been taken out from the flooded Wangjialing coal mine in northern China's Shanxi Province.
Rescuers say most of the miners are in stable condition and many are able to speak despite being trapped underground for more than a week. They were quickly taken to nearby hospitals for emergency medical treatment.
Provincial officials say most of the survivors were brought out from a working platform, where rescuers had drilled a vertical hole last week.
The hole has ensured oxygen in the flooded pit. Rescuers later sent down glucose to the trapped ones.
The latest progress is being seen as a miracle. 3-thousand rescuers made the miracle happen. They have been working around the clock searching for the 153 trapped miners since the flood happened on March 28th.
