The most coveted trophy in the football world, now has a case to match its glamorous standing. FIFA has teamed up with globally renowned designer Louis Vuitton to design a travel case for the World Cup trophy.

When embarking on a long journey a robust and well made piece of luggage is a travel essential and, with the 2010 World Cup now just 11 days away, this was exactly the brief that FIFA, gave to renowned French fashion house Louis Vuitton recently.

The world famous brand, known for its iconic 'LV' logo, has designed a unique travel case to house the highly coveted World Cup trophy for its forthcoming trip to South Africa.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell was on hand to help present the case at a glittering ceremony in the French capital on Tuesday.
