Japanese auto maker Subaru will recall more than 2 thousand Legacy and Outback models in China, to fix faulty hoses in the automatic transmission.
According to the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, the recall is being ordered to correct problems with the cooler hose, which could crack and leak fluid in 2010 models. The leaks could set off the warning light and prevent the vehicle from running in extreme conditions. The quality watchdog says the car maker will check and replace the hose for free from June 14th. The recall involves 2,200 Legacy and Outback vehicles which were produced between June 3rd and 0ctober 2nd, 2009.
