At least 25 people have been killed in clashes between Islamic militants and Somali government troops, backed by African Union peacekeepers in the nation's capital, Mogadishu.

Fighting broke out after Al-SHAA-baab declared--- what it called--- the final phase of the insurgent's group, war against invaders.

That's a reference to AU troops propping up Somalia's transitional government. The group says it won't stop fighting until they expel ALL foreign peacekeepers.
