Beijing Aerospace Control Center says its moon probe, Chang'e 2, has returned to a long-term lunar orbit.
The center will now begin to take long-term supervision of the satellite and conduct experiments on the lunar orbital activity, including taking high resolution images of the lunar surface.
In the next six months, the Control Center will oversee the observation and control stations to track the satellite, and supervise and analyze the satellite platform and orbital state.
