After holding talks with Chinese leaders, David Cameron has later attended the opening ceremony of the 3rd China-UK Business Summit. Cameron and Vice Premier Li Keqiang called for stronger trade ties between the two countries.
The summit is the highest-level bilateral trade activity between China and the UK. This year's theme is "Partners for Growth". Li Keqiang raised three measures to boost Sino-British trade and welcomed the British government to expand its market in China. Cameron said his visit to Beijing is not only about signing deals, but also finding ways for Sino-British economic ties to go further.

David Cameron said, "We will always argue for greater Chinese access to European markets and alongside that we need your help by, as you have said, the further opening of the Chinese economy as your growth continues. And I think this argument in favor of trade, in favor of openness, in favor of globalization, and in opposition to protectionism is going to be more and more important to our world in the years ahead."
