Thousands of holiday-makers have been camped out at Heathrow, many of them for days, following flight cancellations.
Some passengers have likened conditions at the airport to a refugee camp. Many still don't know how long they will be there.
Meanwhile, in the Midlands, further snow fall is causing massive tail-backs on a motorway in Worcestershire.
Resident of Worcestershire, said, "My wife's a carer, so they're finding it really hard to get to places, to the elderly and to people that need them so it is tough on them."
Weather forecasters predict fresh snow across many parts of England and Wales. No further snow is forecast in London, however, where temperatures have warmed slightly - giving hope that the snow and ice will soon melt.
