The Communist Party of China is calling on its members to do more to fight corruption. The Politburo of the CPC Central Committee listened to this year's work report by the party's Commission of Discipline Inspection on Tuesday.
Hu Jintao, the General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, says achievements have been made in the country's anti-graft campaign, but that a handful of problems still exist. He said party members should show determination in continuing the fight against corruption. The meeting laid out the major tasks for next year's efforts, including strengthened supervision, and making sure corrupt officials are punished.
