Libyan rebels continue to battle with government forces for control of the strategic eastern gateway city of Ajdabiya.
A group of rebel fighters gathered on the outskirts of the city, after claiming they had gained control of part of the city.
Earlier rebels held the city center, but lost control after facing relentless artillery shelling from government troops. Recent rebel advances have stalled, and the two sides have been at stalemate in Ajdabiya and another key city, Misrata.
The rebels had assistance from coalition warplanes, which destroyed a total of seven government tanks.
