Heavy floods continue to batter Colombia, with almost three-quarters of the country affected by the deluge.
Officials estimate that close to 90 people have lost their lives since the beginning of 2011, with another 200,000 people losing their homes. The country's first rainy season usually starts in late March, but scientists say that due to the meteorological phenomenon of La Nina, heavy rains have been persistent since November last year. Rainfall is forecast to continue until June.
