Chinese superstar Li Na has sealed a semi-final berth at the French Open. She beat Victoria Azar-enka from Belarus in straight sets 7-5, 6-2.

Li, who finished second at the Australian Open earlier this year, dominated the quarterfinal match with her powerful and accurate, forehand and backhand baseline strokes. Li has now reached her second Grand Slam semi-final of the year.

Next she will play former world number one, Maria Sharapova who defeated the 15th seed Andrea Petkovic of Germany. Li is looking for her first career Grand Slam title.
