A Russian news agency also confirmed that the Federation's President played a game of chess with Gaddafi in Tripoli on Sunday. The Libyan leader told the Chess Federation's president he had no intention of leaving the country.

Meanwhile, Algeria's Foreign Ministry on Sunday denied allegations stating that the Libyan leader has been exiled in Algeria. A few days ago, the ministry denied news alleging that Gaddafi's daughter is in Algeria to flee the intensified warfare in Libya.
