China’s state-owned train maker, China CNR corp. announced on August 12th it was recalling 54 trains it supplied for the high-speed rail link between Beijing to Shanghai. The recall came three weeks after the fatal high-speed train crash in Wenzhou, in eastern Zhejiang Province. The trains, all CRH380BL models, were probed for equipment failure and modified accordingly.
