There are some mouth-watering desserts awaiting Golden-Globe nominees this year: chocolate caramelito with rum, lemon mousseline with pistachio, and California almond cake are among the treats awaiting Hollywood A-listers.

This year, Hollywood's elite will be served three-courses, featuring meat and fish, accompanied by a salad with Asian flavors. The menu's creator, Chef Troy Thompson, says that, contrary to popular belief, celebrities actually do eat at award shows.
"You know, surprisingly, last year I felt like, more than anything, they do; they will pick at something. It's not that they want to get their 10,000 dollar dress dirty or anything like, we think about that too. As you notice, we just put a little bit of red wine sauce to accompany it, we don't drench it with stuff. So, we think about that, we think about everything we do to put into the dish, and I think it's a successful presentation," Thompson said.
And for the vegetarian or vegan stars, such as Leonardo DiCaprio, there will be a meat- and dairy-free option: baked sweet potatoes.
Pastry Chef Thomas Henzi, explains how he created his 'trio of desserts.'
"We had several tastings throughout the year where we try to come up with the concept. And after a few of those, we narrowed it down to a trio of desserts, and we always wanted them to match very well so we have a chocolate caramelito, which is a chocolate mousse on a flour-less cake with rum Marnier and some caramel swirl going through there," Henzi said.
And to wash it down, champagne house Moet & Chandon will be serving the "Moet Ruby Red" cocktail, which was created by mixologist Karen Gill.
"It was inspired by a classic champagne cocktail called the 'French 75' and my favorite movie, 'The Wizard of Oz.' So, every piece of this cocktail is supposed to be evocative of something from the film: the red raspberry and tarragon shrub for the ruby red slippers, green tarragon for the Emerald City, and the blond lemon twist for the Yellow Brick Road," Gill said.
The Golden Globe winners will be announced at a televised ceremony in Los Angeles January 10. Romance drama "Carol" and Wall Street misdeeds comedy "The Big Short" lead a diverse range of films honored with Golden Globe nominations, with genres spanning indie thrillers to big budget sci-fi action adventures.
