An eighth Harry Potter tale is on the way, but not as a book or a movie. This installment comes in the form of a two-part play in London's West-End theatre district. In "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child", the wizard hero is grown up, married to Ginny Potter-nee-Weasley, and with a family of his own.

Fans got a glimpse of family members ahead of preview performances beginning June 7th at London's Palace Theatre. Jamie Parker plays Potter himself, now a father of three, and an employee of the Ministry of Magic; Poppy Miller plays Ginny; and Sam Clemmett their son Albus Potter.
Based on an original story by Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling, scripted by Jack Thorne, and directed by John Tiffany, this is the first official Potter story to unfold on stage.
Meanwhile, J.K. Rowling is enjoying success beyond her wizarding universe. Her crime novel "Career of Evil", written under her pseudonym Robert Galbraith, is one of six books shortlisted for the prestigious Theakston Old Peculier Crime Novel of the Year Award.
