On the ninth day of the Rio Paralympics Games, Team China have now bagged a total of 217 medals with 94 golds, and are still in the first place on medal table. China defeated Germany 2-1 in one of the most entertaining finals of the Rio Games to clinch the men's team table tennis class 3 title.
China's other table tennis team success came in the Class 1-3 final, with Chinese paddlers quickly wrapping up the 3-0 victory against their Croatian opponents.
In the pool, Wang Yinan secures his fifth Paralympic gold medal by winning the 50-meter freestyle S8 final. The 26-year-old beat his Ukrainian opponent by less than half a second.
Meanwhile, Cheng Jiao picks up her third gold medal in Rio by winning the 50m backstroke S4. And on the track, Liu Cuiqing secured her second gold medal of these Games by winning the women's 400m T11 final.
