China's men's team are in the central Asian nation for their 4th match in Group A where they will seek their first win in their third round of AFC qualifiers. Stunned by Syria 1-nil at home last Thursday, China are looking to bounce back in a match they cannot afford to lose.
Gao Hongbo's men took a rest on Sunday morning, before leaving for training at the Bunyodkor Stadium, where they will challenge Uzbekistan on Tuesday afternoon.
Compared to the first training when they arrived in the Uzbek Capital, the players showed higher morale, although they may still be licking their wounds from the humiliating home defeat to Syria during China's National Day holiday.
Some players revealed that the coaching staff demanded all the players to put the defeat behind them in order to concentrate on the match against Uzbekistan. The Chinese squad is now doing what they can to get mentally prepared while honing their tactics for this pivotal fixture.
