Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and British Prime Minister Gordon Brown on Thursday held an in-depth and candid discussion of their views on issues concerning climate change.
The two leaders spoke by telephone as the U.N. Climate Change Conference, which opened Monday and will run through Dec. 18, continued in Copenhagen.
The conference gathered representatives from 192 countries and aims to map out a plan to combat climate change from 2012 to 2020.
Wen, at the invitation of Danish Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen, was to attend the talks.
