One policeman was killed and 16 others were injured in two explosions in Russia's troubled North Caucasus republic of Ingushetia, Russian news agencies reported on Friday.
A bomb went off at a derelict house in Ingushetia's largest city of Nazran on Friday morning as police were inspecting the site, local police sources were quoted as saying.
Ten policemen were wounded in the first blast and rushed to hospital, the sources said.
Less than an hour later, a second bomb exploded at the house, injuring another seven police. One of the wounded, police officer Magomed Khashiyev, later died in hospital. Also among the wounded was the city's police chief Kazbek Latyrov.
