Afghan and the NATO-led troops raided a Taliban hideout in Logar province 60 km south of capital city Kabul and arrested three suspected terrorists, spokesman for provincial administration Deen Mohammad Darvesh said Sunday.
"The troops conducted a joint but short operation in Mohammad Agha district Saturday night and detained three persons who have link with Taliban outfit," Darvesh told Xinhua.
He also said the suspected terrorists had been taken to unknown location for investigation.
Taliban militants have yet to make comment.
The Afghan and NATO-led troops launched a major offensive against Taliban bastion in Marja district of the southern Helmand province on February 13.
