China and Japan will hold the third round of dialogue between their finance ministers in Beijing on April 3, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang said Tuesday.
Qin told a regular press conference in Beijing that Chinese Finance Minister Xie Xuren and Japanese Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Kan Naoto would attend talks.
The two sides would exchange views on a wide range of topics, including the regional and global economies, economic strategy of both countries, and exchanges and cooperation between the finance ministries.
Qin said senior Chinese government officials would meet with Kan Naoto. Officials from the finance ministries of both countries would participate in the dialogue.
China and Japan initiated the dialogue between finance ministers in Beijing in March 2006. The second round of dialogue was held in Tokyo in March 2008.
