One fireman was killed while putting out a fire that broke out in a Chinese market in the northeastern outskirts of Romanian capital Bucharest early Wednesday morning.
He was hit and killed by a falling object from the market. The fire is still burning although it is under control now, a Xinhua correspondent at the scene reported.
The fire covered an area of over 1,000 square meters in the Red Dragon Chinese market, the largest of its kind in central and southeastern Europe, he said.
