Chinese State Councilor Dai Bingguo will pay an official visit to five African nations from July 20 to 27, Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang announced Tuesday.

Qin told a regular press briefing that the five countries include Ethiopia, Algeria, Equatorial Guinea, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Zambia. Dai was invited by governments of the five countries.
