Senior CPC official leaves for Laos visit

Senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official Liu Yunshan left?Beijing Thursday morning for a visit to Laos.
Liu, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, is visiting at the invitation of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party.
Liu, heading a CPC delegation, will also attend a seminar on socialist construction in Vientiane, the capital of Laos, held between the two parties.
Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee Wang Jiarui is accompanying Liu on the visit.
