The confirmed death toll from heavy flooding that hit many provinces across the country since Oct. 10 has risen to 185, the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation reported on Wednesday morning.
The department said the flooding had killed 127 people in the northern, northeastern, eastern and central plains and 58 in southern region.
On Tuesday, the department reported the confirmed flood death toll at 181.
Currently, there are 18 provinces out of 77 provinces still inundated with 1.42 million people affected.
