Thousands of Jordanians across the Arab kingdom protested on the streets on Friday, calling on the government to step down.
Demonstrations occurred in serveral major Jordanian cities, while in downtown of capital Amman, over 5,000 Jordanians took to the street.
Chanting anti-government slogans, the demonstrators blamed the government for rising prices in the country, calling for the immediate resignation of the government of Prime Minister Samir Rifai.
They also called for combating corruption in the country and dissolving the lower house, who gave an overwhelming confidence vote to Rifai's government last month.
