Egypt's fallen President Hosni Mubarak, who stepped down on Friday, is still in Egypt's Red Sea resort town of Sharm el-Sheikh, Prime Minister Ahmed Shafiq said on Sunday.
"Prime Minister Ahmed Shafiq announced that former president Hosni Mubarak is in Sharm el-Sheikh up to now," official MENA news agency said, which denied rumors that the outed president had left the country.
Mubarak stepped down on Friday, and before that, left capital with his family to Sharm el-Sheikh. Military took charge of the country after more than two weeks of mass protests against his 30- year rule.
