China and Japan will hold their 11th strategic dialogue on Feb. 28 in Tokyo, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Ma Zhaoxu said Thursday.
Ma told a regular press briefing that Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Zhijun and Japanese Vice Foreign Minister Sasae Kenichiro would attend as chief delegates. The two sides would discuss China-Japan relations and international and regional issues.
Ma said the dialogue was an important channel for the two governments to strengthen strategic communication.
"We hope the two sides will enhance mutual understanding and political trust through the dialogue, and promote the sound and steady development of bilateral relations," he said.
